Vacant Positions in Jayapura: COMMUNITY FACILITATOR BEHAVIOR CHANGE

CARE InternationalIndonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scaleoperations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitionalactivities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of developmentinitiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.
CAREIndonesia in Jayapura, Papua is currently recruiting the following position:
JOB TITLE                                     :COMMUNITY FACILITATOR BEHAVIOR CHANGE (CF-BC)
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT          : PROJECT/KOTA          
REPORTS TO                               : PROJECT OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible to the ProjectManager, but technically will be supervised by Project Officer. CF will worktogether with CARE project Staff and other partner to design, planning andimplementing activities in community with related institutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES ANDTASKS:
·        Work with in co-operation with Local Government,opinion leaders, religious groups, and community based organizations (CBOs),etc across the target areas, providing information to the community aboutWATSAN and its components.
·        Organize meetings or events together with thevillage leaders and or water committee for the purpose of projectimplementation.
·        Facilitate and assist community organization tomanage WSS and health and hygiene education, reflecting gender equity andpoverty targeting principles.
·       Build community capacity and assist community indeveloping the Community Action Plan (CAP), constructing WSS facilitiesselected by the community, and managing the O&M of the improved WSSfacilities. This will include the following:oAddresscomplaints and questions about the project and help ensure transparency in allproject implementation and decision making.oMonitorand evaluate project activities in community level, in coordination with MonevOfficer. oProvidetimely and accurate progress reports for the supervisor and other partners asappropriate. oMonthlyUpdate of Project Activities Reports (Including database, indicator trackingtables, etc).oOthertasks may reasonably requested by supervisor.

INTERNAL PM, ROC, Admin. Officer, Admin Assistant, Finance Officer, Watsan Specialist, Gender Specialist, Institutional Development Specialist, Monev. Officer EXTERNAL Community, PDAM, Dinas Kesehatan & related institution &  kelurahan 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·        Havea degree Public Health/Environmental/  S1Civil Engineering
·        At least 3 years experience working withinternational and local non government organizations
·        Familiarity with community level participatoryapproaches
·        Proven good ability as a Facilitator
·        Facility with Excel and Word
·        Demonstrated capacity to work as a team member
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel 80% on the area project covered.
