Vacancy at Lembaga Fajar Harapan

Title: Logistics Officer
Location: Medan
Report to: Country Representative

Summary:

This person will help to create and maintain order in Medan office by providing/carrying out responsibilities for administrative, logistics, procurement, property control and other operational functions as required. This person will promote a peaceful and organized working environment in Medan office. 1.Oversee general administrative functions in Medan office.
2.Maintain good relationship with local government and other NGO/organisation in Medan.
3.Maintain up to date records/ property control of office assets e.g. laptops, flash disks, stationary, medical supplies etc.
4.Responsibilities for procurement/ purchase of office and house items.
5.In coordination with HR, provide guidance on implementation of personnel regulations to Medan national staff.
6.Supervise office general assistant to ensure that is doing his job properly.
7.Supervise housekeeper to ensure the office and living quarters are clean and habitable.
8.Prepare reports and other documents that may be required.
9.Occasionally provide translation services to various international staff who may be in Medan.
10.Ensure that office vehicle is in good condition and is maintained well.
11.Provide logistical support to staff who are on program assignments e.g. renting cars etc.
12.Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

«Male, has maturity in spiritual life as well as age, minimum 40 years old.
«Ability to think and act strategically and quickly at multiple levels
«Ability to make decisions quickly.

«Excellent organizational and leadership skills; ability to plan and lead in the efficient follow through on complex projects and relationships.

«High degree of adaptability to varied working environments and good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
«Highest standards of personal and professional integrity.

Education and/or Experience:
-Bachelor degree of any discipline with at least 3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent.
-Bilingual, ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Indonesian.
-Good communication skill.
-Computer competency in Microsoft office i.e. Word/Excel/Publishe r and Outlook.
- Flexibility at work.
-Team player.
-Experience in management, procurement, and administrative work is desirable.
-Possess valid driving license (A&C)
-Willingness to work in Medan.
