Mercy Corps Indonesia is currently seeking to fill the post through external candidates:

Jakarta

1. National Liaison and ReplicationProject Officer  Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) Program

The National Liaison & Replication Project Officer will work directly to ACCCRN Program Coordinator
and will be responsible to approach government structure at national level to support climate change adaptation mainstreaming, approach government structure at different levels to channel additional resources, assist and facilitate replication workshops on Urban Climate Change Resilience (UCCR) at local,
regional and national level, assist the liaison and network of existing ACCCRN cities with new urban areas and contribute to overall urban program development and future proposals for ACCCRN or other urban development follow-on activity.

Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in Indonesia climate change initiatives and/or urban development 
* Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience in networking and project implementation, and documentation related to Indonesian climate change issues, and Indonesian government climate change initiatives and actors.
* Familiar with Indonesian government structures and institutions, and their interactions.
* BA/S or higher in environmental sciences, or similar field. 
* Fluency in English verbal and written communication is essential. 
* Ability to multi-task, follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members essential. 
* Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel are mandatory.
* Candidate must be willing to travel regularly to the two selected cities outside of Jakarta.

Lampung

2.  Team Leader – Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) Program

The Team Leaderwill work directly with the Project Coordinator to complete a robust and demand driven process of Indonesian city selection, and will then work directly with the Project Coordinator and two regional Project Officer to build the capacity of selected Indonesian city networks to develop, plan, budget, and identify potential funding for participatory, city level, climate change resilience strategies; to assist and ensure all of  local adaptation action goals and objectives are met;  to  identify, develop, local climate action, document, and disseminate successful Indonesian city network climate change activities within Indonesia and throughout ACCCRN regional network.The Team Leader will be required to work with a wide range of project partners spanning civil society, private sector, government, international
donors, etc. Additional responsibilities will include liaising with Mercy Corps other Urban Programs to identify potential follow-on or complementary urban programming in the two selected Indonesian cities, and participation in project training and knowledge-sharing activities.
