Oracle APEX Developer is required

 

A multinational insurance company located in Cairo-Egypt has an open vacancy for Junior Oracle APEX Developer (Oracle Application Express Developer) with the following criteria :

Responsibilities:

1- Understanding client change requirements, in order to define and size the effort required for the change.
2- Full analysis and documentation of system changes required. Also, Development and unit testing of changes.
3- Support of system and user acceptance.
4- Strong communication skills in order to work with client staff and ensure that there is a clear, shared understanding of the functionality required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors in computer science, information technology, or related field OR equivalent experience.
2. Should have a good knowledge of Oracle APEX.
3. Solid experience in Web concepts and technologies like HTML, CSS, JQuery, and AJAX.
4. Solid experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
5. Good knowledge of Toad and Oracle WebLogic.
6. Good knowledge of database concepts and development life cycle.
7. WebService concepts knowledge is a plus.
8. Web / Graphical Design skills is a plus.

Soft Skills :
1. self-motivated problem solver with attention to detail.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English speaking).
3. Quick learner and a team player.
4. Work under pressure.

Candidates must have the ability to quickly understand client requirements, understand technical system implications and devise appropriate solutions. They must also be able to work on their own initiative to understand issues and drive them to resolution. As this is a client facing role, we would expect candidates to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
