Senior Project Manager

The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) is an
AusAID-funded project assisting Indonesia to undertake economic and
financial policy reforms. Norton Rose Australia, the Managing Contractor,
seeks applications for the position of Senior Project Manager for their Tax
Sub Facility. The duration of the appointment will be ten months full time
but there is a strong likelihood that the position will be extended. 

The successful candidate will be expected to have significant experience in
project management and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications,
skills, attributes and personal qualities:

The SPM will possess the following skills and attributes: 

Essential 

. project management skills and experience at the strategic and
operational levels, preferably in a Government Agency or International
Organization; 

. strong written and oral communication skills in both English and
Bahasa Indonesia; 

. an ability to work independently or as part of a team 

. an undergraduate degree and post graduate qualification in an area
relevant to project management. 

Desirable 

. an understanding of the principles of tax administration, including
such matters as risk management, voluntary compliance, taxpayer service and
taxpayer enforcement; 

. an awareness of the reform agenda being implemented by the
Directorate General of Taxes and the issues that are impacting on successful
implementation of that agenda. 

. membership of a professional body relevant to project management. 

Office will be at Directorate General of Taxes (Dirjen Pajak - Gatot
Subroto/Semanggi area, Jakarta)
